We’re Jordan & Katrina — two travel-obsessed humans who in 2025 did the thing most people only dream about… We quit the routine, packed up our lives, bought one-way tickets, and spent a year travelling the world.
It started as a 12-month sabbatical from our jobs as a Firefighter and Management Consultant in Tech. One year to see the world properly. But a year wasn’t enough — so we extended. Then extended again. Together, we’ve now travelled to 42 countries, with 22 of those in the last year alone. A proper world tour. We overlanded across 10 African countries, spent time in India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives, and then travelled across the breadth of South America. We hiked through misty mountains, slept under the stars in the desert, got lost in ancient medinas, and yes — we also sipped cocktails watching amazing sunsets and ate lots of very delicious food. And we loved every second of it.
